KRISTEN STEWART, NAILED TO LADY DI IN A NEW PHOTO OF THE FILMING OF HER BIOPIC
Although there are still many months to go before it hits the billboard, the filming of Spencer, the long-awaited biopic about Diana of Wales starring Kristen Stewart, has just entered its final stretch. After several weeks of filming in Germany, the team has just moved to the United Kingdom to complete the last scenes of this film that will narrate the weekend of 1991 in which Lady Di, on Christmas holidays with the Royal Family in Sandringham, took the decision to divorce Prince Charles.
One last push to complete the film that its director Pablo Larraín wanted to celebrate by giving permission for a new image of Kristen Stewart to be made public, characterized as the princess. A photo in which she appears wearing Diana's iconic shy smile and wearing in her hand an exact reproduction of the engagement ring that Carlos gave her.
A Garrard & Co. jewel valued at half a million dollars in which 14 diamonds surround a huge sapphire that today belongs to his eldest son, Prince William, and his wife Kate Middleton, heirs of it.
Although this reproduction is not the most important of the new image released today of the film, but the new confirmation that the doubts that some fans of Lady Di had about whether Kristen Stewart was the best choice to play her in the cinema were totally unfounded .
Doubts that the actress herself has already bluntly dispelled with the publication of her months ago of the first image of her characterized by Diana of her. A photo in which she at least in terms of copying her poses and her gaze nailed her character. Something that should not surprise us after knowing how much Stewart has prepared the role before getting in front of the cameras.
This is how I reveal it in an interview published in InStyle, where she recognized that what scared her the most about stepping into the shoes of Diana of Wales was precisely that, talking about her like her. “Diana's accent is what intimidates me the most. People know her voice, which was very distinctive and very particular. And even though we didn't start shooting until mid-January, I'm already working on it. In fact, I have a coach specialized in dialect who is helping me a lot with this ”, she revealed at the time.
“Besides that, right now I have already read three different biographies of Diana to investigate her life. Well, two thirty. I hope to finish the one I am with before I start filming ”, she explained, making it clear that she will not only stick to the script of the film to give life to her character.
“This is one of the saddest stories ever. So I don't want to just play Diana. I want to know her thoroughly, to be her. In fact, I have never been this excited for a role in my life, "she concluded.
