Mallorca, Cádiz and now Gibraltar: the tour of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas
Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas are spending a very special family vacation. First in Mallorca, an island where the actress was reunited with her parents after a year and a half without seeing them because of the pandemic and, later on a trip to Gibraltar where they have visited some of the most emblematic places in the area, such as the characteristic Peñón or the caves of San Miguel. The protagonists of El zorro has made all her followers part of this expedition and has delightedly shared images of all the landscapes that she has discovered.
After spending several weeks in the S'Estaca estate that the couple owns in Valldemossa and joining the long list of celebrities who have traveled to Mallorca this summer, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas have taken advantage of their proximity to Gibraltar to get to know the zone. The actress wanted to share some of her adventures with the thousands of her followers and has done so in a video in which she appears pointing to "The Rock", as well as sharing other curious moments such as seeing the characteristic monkeys in the town - Barbary Macaques-. "I went to Gibraltar for the first time! I loved it!", The interpreter has written. A place that for years has been chosen by many popular faces, from Ava Gardner to Sean Connery and Keith Moon to John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
In addition, they have not only visited the Rock of Gibraltar, but have also taken a tour of the San Miguel caves, another of the great tourist attractions in the area. Specifically, a tour called 'The Awakening' and in which, through an immersive show of lights, sounds and projections, it highlights all the layers of these caves. Experience that, apparently, the Hollywood actress has loved, as she has exclaimed on her social networks where she has also shared images of the illuminated rock formation of different colors that she has described as "spectacular ". Just two days ago, La voz del sur published an image of the couple at the Jerez airport (Cádiz), where, according to the aforementioned media, they arrived accompanied by their son.
Deserved break that comes just before Catherine Zeta-Jones embarks on her next project hand in hand, nothing more and nothing less than, film director Tim Burton in his first television project for Netflix. It is an eight-episode series called Wednesday centered on the youngest daughter of the mythical and terrifying Addams Family and in which the Chicago protagonist will play Morticia Addams, a role played by actresses such as Carolyn Jones, Daryl Hannah or Anjelica Huston before her.
